Offerings: The offering on 1 Febr. was for the APN Retirement Homes and amounted to R 2.141,70 and on 8 Febr. for the Open Door Crisis Centre amounted to R1.899,40.

Workshop for “Visiting & Caring” – Reminder:

On Saturday, 21 February, a workshop will take place in our church hall at 14h30. Pastor Gilbert  Filter will lead us in a process of enabling us as Christians to care and serve each other.  We encourage all our members to take part in this workshop.

Co-Worker’s Training for 2009 – Reminder:  There will be another training course in Harburg from 20 to 22 February. The topics are “Lutheran Theology and the use of Media”.  All members are encouraged to receive training. Pamphlets are available from the office with detailed information.

German Lessons:  The Deutsche Schule Durban is offering German lessons for beginners and advanced learners. Anybody interested please take a pamphlet from the church entrance. 

Choir Festival at the Concordia Congregation in Gerdau:  The Concordia Congregation is inviting all of us to the Choir Festival on 3 May. For further details contact Pastor Ron.

Theology Students Udo Lütge, René Risch, Anja Spiske and Mark Meier have passed

their second theological examination. We wish them God’s richest blessings.
