Dedication of Garden of Remembrance:
Our Garden of Remembrance is almost complete, and we will celebrate this in a special Dedication Service on Eternity Sunday, 23 November. We will begin our celebrations at 07.15 with a devotion at our cemetery, continue with a Communion Service at 08.30 in our church, and conclude with the dedication of our new Garden of Remembrance. A "Bring & Share Lunch" will follow these proceedings.
NGLC Christmas Bazaar:
Please bake, prepare and plan for our coming Christmas Bazaar on Saturday,
29 November, and take into consideration all the important points mentioned in the letter which everyone has been sent.
On Wednesday and Thursday, 26 and 27 November, from 10.00 a.m. onward we will meet at the church centre to make Christmas wreaths and arrangements. We will be
working all day and everybody is welcome to help whenever you have time to come.
On Friday, 28 November, from 16.00 p.m. onward we need helpers for the placing of tables, and also for clearing up on Saturday afternoon after the bazaar.
Christian Care needs your Assistance:
Can you offer your time to help Interdenominational Christian Care with its ministries? Helpers are needed in Steve's Kitchen on Mondays and Tuesdays, 8.45 10.00 a.m., to serve food to the unemployed. Helpers are also needed to make clinic teas once a month on Tuesdays, 08.00 10.00 a.m. We also need people
(preferably Zulu-speaking) to offer short 10 minute devotions for the unemployed at Steve's Kitchen on weekday mornings. If you are willing and able to offer your help, please contact Marie Roberts at the Christian Care office, Pinetown Methodist Church (weekdays in the morning) at 031-7029697, or ask Pastor Claudia.
Christmas Market at German School:
The German School at 34 Stafford Road, Cowies Hill is inviting to their Christmas Market on this coming Friday, 14 November, from 17.00 21.00.
