Offerings: The offering on Sunday, 16 November, was for the Church Youth Work and amounted to R 1.875,25.

NGLC Christmas Bazaar:
Please bring your items for our Christmas Bazaar if possible already on Friday
after 16.00 or early on Saturday morning. We still need more contributions for
meat and special items for the food hampers.
On Wednesday and Thursday, 26 and 27 November, from 10.00 onward we will meet at the church centre to make Christmas wreaths and arrangements. We will be working all day and everybody is welcome to help whenever you have time to come.
On Friday, 28 November, from 16.00 onward we need helpers for the placing of tables, and also for clearing up on Saturday afternoon after the bazaar.
Care Group:
The next Care Group Meeting will take place on Thursday, 4 December, at 3.30 p.m.
at the All Purpose Room. Everybody who would like to participate in this group is invited to attend this meeting. May we also remind everybody to donate items as
mentioned during our last Sunday service and on our Notice Board. This is a very
valuable service of our body of Christ for the needy of our congregation.
Lutherkirche Christmas Market:
Everybody is invited to come to their Christmas Market on Saturday, 6 December,
from 10.00 to 2 p.m. at renshaw Road, Umbilo.
Invitation to the Lutheran Youth Rüstwoche 2008:
This will take place this year from 7 to 14 December at Elandskraal. - We very much recommend the participation of all our youths. If you cannot pay, please come and join anyway! If you can't find a sponsor, the church will find sponsors for you! But registration will have to be done by 28 November. Registration forms are available from the church office or Pastor Ron.
On 14 December, in the closing Praise & Worship Service of Rüstwoche, we will celebrate the farewell of Pastor Werner Harms. He has served as Youth Pastor since 1992 and has been a blessing to many young people. Everybody is invited to this service.
Special Notice:
Please take note that on the "Service Roster" the following service times
have been altered:
1. On Sunday, 30 November, 1. Advent, there will be only one service in English
at 08.30;
2. On Sunday, 7. December, 2. Advent, there will be no morning service, but our
annual Advent Celebration at 18.00, for which we would appreciate if you would
each bring a plate of Christmas cookies!
German Service at the German School, Cowies Hill:
Tonight at 17.00 there will be a German Service at the German School, 15 Stafford Road, Cowies Hill, Durban, with an informal gathering already at 16.30 for coffee.
All are welcome to attend!
