Offerings: The offering on Sunday, 24 August, was for Church Youth Work and amounted to R 1.954,30.

Today's offering is for APN Retirement Homes.

Dolphin Coast Church Planting Project:

Church services will take place every last Sunday of the month in Salt Rock, 16 Dolphin Crescent, at 17:00. Our first service will be celebrated today.  Please support this church-planting project.    Contact: Jonny and Sharon Gerken, Tel. 032-525 4280, Cell 082 828 5180 or Pastor Ron Küsel.

 

Concert of the Durban Symphonic Choir:

The choir will sing Dvorak's Mass in D major at the Mariannhill Cathedral today, Sunday, 31 August, at 15:00.  Tickets: R 60 each; Pensioners & Scholars R 50.   For more details see small poster on the notice board outside.

 

Co-Workers' Training Seminar:

The next seminar will take place from  5 – 7 September  at Elandskraal. The program will be on Homilectics – Devotions/Sermons and on Christian Education. More details from Pastor Dirk Köstlin (Tel.: 034-982 2608 or Cell: 084 580 1353).

Thank You Letter:

We received the following Thank-you letter from Pastor Meyer of the Durban Congregation: "Dear Sisters & Brothers! On behalf of the Refugee and Migrant Ministry a very special thank you comes your way for the donation of R 2 802,00 you so kindly deposited into our banking account in June.  We are deeply touched  by your generosity. – The money was pooled together with other donations to buy baby food, clothing, nappies, as well as emergency food rations and blankets for adults.- Without the support from churches and individuals like you we would not be able to fulfil our ministry adequately. – Once again we thank you for your  support. – Yours faithfully, signed G.
